Be still my heart. The man still has it. (sigh) This year celebrates 40 years since his first big recording "Release Me" which remained on the charts for 56 weeks, the longest running song ever on the charts. I wish I could have sat closer. He was a lot of fun as well.
On Saturday Feb 24, 2007, we had dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. Goofy was our gracious host and was clopping around in his big shoes and sitting on peoples laps and giving us all big hugs. The character dining is a lot of fun. You don't need children to enjoy these characters. While eating we enjoyed visits to our table from Chip (black nose), Dale (brown nose), Goofy, Minnie and Pluto. Dinner is served family style and you serve yourself from the bowls on the table. And it is delicious. They serve a little salad with strawberry vinaigrette dressing that is quite tasty.
Echo with catnip Fish ("Fishy") Barb made him for Valentine Swap 2007. Thank you Barb. He loves it.
Lapghan I crocheted for my Mother-In-Law. It measures 51-inches by 26-inches. She could sit on the couch with her feet up and it would cover her from ankle to chest. Or she could throw it around her shoulders.
"Whaddya mean by follow the dots?"
